SUNY Oneonta senior defender Colleen Wolbert (Rotterdam, NY/Schalmont)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending October 30. Wolbert registered an assist in a 3-0
victory over Scranton and then scored a goal on a corner kick
in a 2-1 victory over Hamilton. Her goal against Hamilton was
the game-winner as she hooked her corner kick directly into the
net.

SUNY Brockport sophomore goalie Liz Durfee (Williamson, NY/Williamson)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending October 23. Durfee posted a 15-save shutout on the
road against Geneseo in a 1-0 win for the Golden Eagles in the
SUNYAC regular season finale. It was the fifth shutout of the
season for Durfee who has a 6-6-2 record. She posted three shutouts
in thelast four games for Brockport.

Plattsburgh State sophomore Kelly Hopkins (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry)
has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference
(SUNYAC) women's soccer Athlete of the Week for the week ending
October 16. Hopkins led the Cardinals to a pair of key conference
victories with the game-winning goal in each contest over the
weekend. Plattsburgh defeated Cortland, 3-1, on Friday and Oswego,
3-0, on Saturday to secure a spot in the SUNYAC playoffs. Hopkins
scored the game-winner against Cortland and added a goal and an
assist in the victory over Oswego.

SUNY Oneonta senior midfielder Patricia Jaeger (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending October 9. Jaeger scored a goal in each game this
past week as Oneonta defeated Oswego, 3-0 and Cortland, 1-0. Her
game-winner against Cortland clinched the seventh straight regular
season SUNYAC title for the Red Dragons. Oneonta is 12-1-1 overall
and 9-0-0 in SUNYAC play.

SUNY Oneonta senior goalie Laura Morcone (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending October 2. Morcone started and played the majority
of all three games this past week as Oneonta enjoyed a 3-0 week.
Morcone played 224 minutes and 19 seconds and did not allow a
single goal as the Red Dragons beat Hartwick (5-0), Geneseo (5-0)
and Brockport (4-0). She made one save in each game and now has
a shutout streak of 386 minutes. With the three victories last
week, her record now stands at 10-1-1.

SUNY Geneseo senior forward Jackie Fertitta (Roslyn, NY/Herricks)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending September 25. Fertitta led the Knights to a 2-1 week
with the game-winning goals in each of the two victories. She
started the week with an assist on the only Geneseo goal of the
game in a 2-1 loss to Ithaca and then kept the Knights undefeated
in SUNYAC play with a goal in each victory over Oswego and Cortland.
Fertitta is currently the second leading scorer for Geneseo with
four goals and two assists for 10 points.

SUNY Geneseo junior Emily Petraglia (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending September 18. Petraglia scored at least one goal in
each of the three games this week for the Knights. The junior
forward scored once in a 3-2 loss to Nazareth in a mid-week game
and then led Geneseo to a 2-0 start in SUNYAC games with wins
over Plattsburgh and Potsdam. Against Plattsburgh she netted a
goal and an assist as the Knights came back from a 3-0 deficit
to win 4-3. The following day she recorded the first two goals
in an 8-0 victory over Potsdam.

Buffalo State senior Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls)
has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic
Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the
week ending September 11. Monaco led the Bengals to a 2-0-1 week
with two assists in a 3-1 win over RIT, scored the first three
goals of a 9-0 victory over Penn State-Altona and helped the team
to a 1-1 tie with Marietta. She is already the all-time leading
scorer at Buffalo State and leads the team with four goals and
four assists this season.

Cortland freshman Katie Trivisonno (Apalachin, NY/Owego Free
Academy) has been selected as the State University of New York
Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week
for the week ending September 4. Trivisonno started her collegiate
career by scoring three goals, including two in a 4-3 overtime
win against Skidmore, one of which was the overtime-game winner.
She also scored Cortland's lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Wilkes.
Trivisonno was selected to the All-Tournament team at the Rachel
Miller Memorial Tournament held at RIT.
