Melody Kuzniar - Geneseo
Jr., 3rd Home (Rome/Rome Free Academy)
Kuzniar led Geneseo (10-1 and ranked 18th in Division
III) to wins over
Buffalo St. and Brockport by scoring five goals, one assist and
scooping
seven groundballs in the 15-8 win over the Bengals on Tuesday
and adding a
career high seven goals, one assist with three GBs in the 18-12
win over
the Golden Eagles on Saturday.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Regina Grosso - Cortland
Jr., G (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker)
Grosso led Cortland (15-1 and ranked eighth in Division
III) to three wins
by posting a .591 save percentage and 3.48 goals against average.
Grosso
made five saves in a 15-7 win over William Smith on Wednesday,
stopped four
shots in a 12-2 victory over Buffalo St. on Friday and added four
saves in
the 15-1 win over Fredonia on Saturday.

Player of the Week
Angela Inzinna -Brockport
Junior, M (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville)
Inzinna racked up seven goals and seven assists
in a pair of victories. The junior, who is Brockport's all-time
leading scorer, had three goals and three assists in a 12-9 win
over Buffalo State to go along with four ground balls and five
draw controls. She then netted four goals and four assists in
a 17-15 victory over Hartwick with four draw controls.
Goalie of the Week
Ashley Perkins -Oswego State
Junior, G (Oneida, NY/Oneida)
Perkins had 7.50 goals-against-average and a .625
save percentage in a 2-0 week for Oswego State. Perkins made 14
saves in a 9-8 win over previously undefeated Geneseo and then
recorded 11 saves in a 12-7 decision over Oneonta.

Maybeck scored five goals, one assist, scooped two
groundballs and grabbed
four draw controls in the Red Dragons' 18-10 win over Fredonia
and added
four goals, two GBs and two draws in the 18-6 victory over Buffalo
St.
Goalie of the Week
Jess Pausewang-Geneseo
Junior, G (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford)
Pausewang had a 9.00 goals against average and a
.620 save percentage in a
3-0 week for Geneseo. Pausewang made 17 saves in the 14-12 win
over #3
Cortland which snapped the Red Dragons 58 game SUNYAC win streak,
stopped
13 shots in the 13-11 win over St. John Fisher and turned aside
14 shots in
the 15-4 decision over Potsdam.

Jennifer Willis - Cortland
Sophomore, Attack (Huntington, NY/Walt Whitman)
Willis scored five goals in a 13-7 win over Brockport
on Tuesday and netted
four goals, four assists in the 21-1 victory over Potsdam on Saturday
to
help keep the Red Dragons unbeaten on the season at 9-0 and ranked
third
nationally by the IWLCA. Willis collected 11 of her team high
37 draw
controls in the two wins and is second on the team this season
with 40
points on 28 goals, 12 helpers.
Goalie of the Week
Sarah Wright - Fredonia
Freshman, Goalie (Rochester, NY/Irondequoit)
Wright stopped 11 shots and allowed just three goals
in the Blue Devils
14-3 win over Oberlin on Thursday and made nine saves in the dramatic
12-10
overtime victory against the Elmira Soaring Eagles on Saturday.
On the
week, Wright posted a .606 save percentage and a 6.19 goals against
average.

Geneseo's Chatterton Named SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the
Week
Brockport's Dudek Earns Goalie of the Week Honors
The SUNYAC announced Geneseo's Lauren Chatterton
(Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) as
the Player of the Week and Brockport's Jessica Dudek (Orchard
Park,
NY/Orchard Park) as Goalie of the Week for the week ending April
3, 2005.
A senior first home, Chatterton scored a school
record 12 points on six
goals, six assists in the Knights win over Medaille on Tuesday
and added
three goals, three helpers in the 17-12 victory over Rochester
on Thursday
as Geneseo remained unbeaten on the season at 4-0. In the win
over
Medaille, Chatterton passed Betsy Meldrim's 175 points to become
Geneseo's
all-time career scoring leader. She currently stands at 188 career
points
on 130 goals, 58 assists.
Dudek, a junior netminder, made seven saves and
allowed just five goals in
49:26 of play in the Golden Eagles 14-5 win over RIT for a .583
save
percentage.
