February 18, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced the women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on February 17. Chrissy Milleville (Niagara Falls/Niagara-Wheatfield claimed the women's award.

Milleville, a senior forward, averaged 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals, as Buffalo State won three games against playoff teams, and clinched the regular season title. Milleville scored 23 points in a road win over Geneseo, and added 32 more in a weekend sweep of Cortland and Oswego.

February 11, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced the women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on February 10. Brockport's Kristen Clark (Hilton/Hilton) claimed the women's award.

Clark, a junior forward, averaged 22.7 points and 7.0 rebounds-per-game, as Brockport went 2-1 this past week. She scored 56 points in a pair of weekend wins at Potsdam and Plattsburgh. This is Clark's second time winning the award.

February 4, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announcedthe women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on February 3. Kristin Lemon (Endwell/Maine-Endwell) claimed the women's award.

Lemon helped lead Oneonta to a pair of conference wins, as the Red Dragons extended their SUNYAC winning-streak to six. The senior point guard averaged 16.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in three games last week, including a 25 point outburst in a win over Plattsburgh.

Januarty 28, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced the women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on January 27. Utica/Rome's Cheryl Blanchard (Moira/Genesee CC) claimed the women's award.

Blanchard, a senior forward, averaged 21.3 points and 5.7 rebounds despite her team posting an 0-3 record for the week. She scored 28 points and eight rebounds in a 52-47 loss on Friday against St. Joseph's (VT), and 21 points and seven rebounds in a 51-45 loss against Castleton (VT) on Saturday.

January 21, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced the women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on January 20. Kristen Clark (Hilton/Hilton) of Brockport claimed the women's award.

Clark, a junior forward, averaged 23.0 points and 7.0 rebounds, while shooting 52 percent over a three-game stretch for the Golden Eagles. She was a First Team All-Tournament selection at the JP Morgan Chase Tournament. On Tuesday, she poured in 30 points as Brockport fell to Roberts Wesleyan 82-72.

January 14, 2002

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on January 13. Brockport's Colleen Tabor (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) claimed the women's award.

Tabor, a junior guard, averaged 16.0 points, 5.75 rebounds, and 4.75 assists-per-game as she led the Golden Eagle to a 3-1 week. She scored a career-high 26 points in a win over New Paltz, while hitting 9-of-10 from the field and 6-of-6 from behind the three-point arc. The team's only loss came against Scranton, ranked 19th in the latest Division III poll.

December 10, 2001

The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced the women's SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending on December 9. Erin Egan (Oyster Bay/Oyster Bay) from Cortland claimed the women's award.

Egan, a senior forward, averaged 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists-per-game as Cortland cruised past Brockport and Fredonia to a 2-0 start in SUNYAC play. Egan shot 70 percent from the field and 83 percent from the charity stripe as she posted matching 20 point efforts. She was 7-for-12 from behind the three-point arc.
