SUNYAC stars honored:

Three women's basketball players were honored after the 2007-08 season by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, Eastern College Athletic Conference or D3Kicks.com.

They are (from left to right):
Ashley Broadhurst (Brockport), Jessica Laing (Cortland) and Sara Cavanaugh (Cortland).

Honors were as follows:
Broadhurst (D3Hoops All-East First Team, ECAC Upstate First Team),
Laing (D3Hoops All-East First Team, ECAC Upstate First Team)
and Cavanaugh (ECAC Upstate Second Team).

Broadhurst was also the ECAC Upstate Player of the Year
while Laing was received a WBCA All-American honorable mention.

During the 2007-08 season,
three women earned recognition from the ECAC.

They were:
Brockport's Ashley Broadhurst (Jan. 23),
Geneseo's Annie Verdino (Jan. 30)
and SUNYIT's Jen Vergis (Feb. 27).
