Amanda Neamon (Arcade/Pioneer)
went double-double in each of last week's three conference matches to average an impressive 19.7 points and 15.7 rebounds per game. Neamon, now making her second appearance as SUNYAC Player of the Week, led the Blue Devils in a 2-1 week in which she tied Fredonia's scoring record with 31 points during Saturday's win over Cortland. She now has 7 straight double-double performances and total of 11 for the year. During the current season's 24 regulation games, Neamon has averaged 12.3 points and 10.2 boards.

Sarah Lombard (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs) shot over 77% from the field as she racked up 41 points to lead the Oswego Lakers to a perfect 3-0 week. Lombard added to her balanced play with 19 rebounds, 10 blocked shots, 3 steals, and 2 assists. The Lakers, currently the SUNYAC's top ranked team with a 12-2 conference record (19-2 overall), have a six game winning streak going.

February 7, 2005
Sara Cavanaugh (Hastings-on Hudson/ Hastings) averaged 16.3 points and 7.3 rebounds as she led Cortland to a perfect 3-0 record last week. Cavanaugh had a career high of 10 boards in Saturday's win at Plattsburgh as the Red Dragons (15-4, 9-2) moved into a tie for first place in the SUNYAC.
Shooting 59% from the floor, Cavanaugh totaled 49 points, 22 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 5 blocks for the week. She has scored in double-figures in nine of Cortland's last eleven games.

January 31, 2005
Ashley Broadhurst (Sauquoit/Notre Dame) tallied a career high of 21 points and 9 rebounds in Tuesday's win over Cortland to lead the Golden Eagles to a perfect 3-0 week. Averaging 20 points and over 5 rebounds for the period, Broadhurst currently tops all Brockport scorers.
A red-hot shooter, Broadhurst went 24 of 25 for a 96% week in free-throws and 10 of 15 beyond the arc to hit 67% of her three-pointers. In addition to 60 points and 17 boards, Ashley collected 12 assists and 3 steals as the Golden Eagles extended their current winning streak to 7.

January 24, 2005
Mraz (Johnstown/Johnstown) led her team to victory last Friday with a career high of 37 points as the Lakers defeated Oneonta, 93-84, in a quadruple overtime. Mraz, who scored 10 points in the final overtime period alone, finished the week's three contests with a total of 66 points for a 22 point per game average. Besides going 13 - 29 in three-pointers for the week, Mraz also tallied 10 rebounds, 16 assists, 8 steals, and 3 blocks. The Oswego women currently lead the SUNYAC with a 7-1 conference record and a 13-1 overall tally.

January 17, 2005
Kerri Kelty (Valley Stream/ Valley Stream) averaged 18.7 points as she led the New Paltz women in last week’s 3-0 campaign that included two overtimes wins. Kelty tallied 16 points and 12 boards to register the second double-double of her career as the Hawks added a triple overtime win (72-64) over Vassar. Kelty finished the week with 56 points, 23 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals. The Hawks, currently ranked fourth in the SUNYAC, extend their current winning streak to five which is their longest since 1993.

January 10, 2005
Kristin Jackson (East Islip/East Islip) shot .607 (17 of 28) from the field last week as she rang up 44 points in three contests to average 14.7 points and 4 rebounds per game. Jackson scored a career high 26 points in the Hawks 86-28 win over Polytechnic as New Paltz went 2-1 for the week. Jackson also connected on 9 of 18 of her three-pointers while totaling 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals.

Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville)
scored a career high of 31 points to lead Buffalo State to an 82-72 win over Centre in the Wittenberg Holiday Classic. Brooks was also named to the Wittenberg Classic All-Tournament Team. The junior forward finished the week averaging 18.5 points and 6.7 rebounds.

December 13, 2004
Amanda Neamon (Arcade/Pioneer) averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Blue Devils as Fredonia State went 2-1 last week. Neamon went double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s 76-54 win over RIT. On Tuesday she led all scorers with 17 points as Fredonia downed Penn St. Behrend 66-56. For the week, she tallied 36 points, 28 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Neamon was a perfect free-throw shooter going 9-9 while hitting 13-25 in field goals. Neamon currently leads her team in boards with an average of 8.6.

December 6, 2004
Jessica Tremblay (Albany/Colonie) averaged 15.3 points and 6 rebounds as she led the Lakers to a perfect 3-0 record last week. Shooting 54% from the floor, Tremblay totaled 46 points, 18 boards, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks during her past three games. The Lakers advanced to a 5-0 tally to set a new school record for most wins at the start of the season.

November 29, 2004
Laura Phillips (Plattsburgh/Plattsburgh)
went double-double as she led the Cardinals to a 69-46 win over Clarkson last week. Phillips was 8 for 10 in field goals as she tallied 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Phillips also added 2 assists and 3 steals to her performance, which was her third double-double of the season.

November 22, 2004
Darnika Moseley tallied 35 points last weekend to average 17.5 per game as she led the Bengals to victory in the Betty Abbott Invitational Tournament. Buffalo downed D'Youville 77-63 in Saturday's opener followed by a 59-53 win over Elmira in the championship round. Named Tournament MVP, Moseley went 13/27 in field goals while pulling down 6 boards and picking off 1 steal in each game. Moseley totaled 9 assists for the weekend.
