In a week that began with the Bengals earning a 3-1 win at the University of Rochester on Tuesday and ended with advancement to the gold bracket of Oneonta's Invitational on Saturday afternoon, Polka helped lead her team to
a 17-7 mark while setting three records of her own. She is now Buffalo State's all-time leader in kills (1,149), career aces (119) and aces in a season (74). Competing in 20 games, Polka accrued 122 kills, 4 assists, 13 aces, 36 digs, a .350 hitting percentage, and 32 total blocks to help lead her team to 3-2 on the week. The Youngstown, NY native was named to the All-Tournament Team at Oneonta and has earned the State University of New York Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week Honor.

A junior middle hitter, Polka has helped to lead Buffalo State to an 11-match winning streak. Her 51 kills, 21 aces, 16 digs, 14 blocks and .280 hitting percentage in nine games of play earned Polka Most Valuable Player honors at the Bengal Invitational, her second MVP title and third all-tournament selection in the past three weekends. Buffalo State's record now stands at 11-1. She was also selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
