Cortland's Ashley Abar (Champlain/Northeastern Clinton) defeated Geneseo's Nicole King (Scottsville/Caribou, ME) 6-1, 6-2 to earn the fourth singles crown. Cortland's Meredith McCaslin (Babylon/Babylon) won the fifth singles flight defeating New Paltz's Jennifer Larson (Port Jervis/Port Jervis) 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 to earn Cortland's fourth singles crown. In number six singles, New Paltz's Amanda Rosario (Bronx/St. Jean Baptist) earned the Hawks only singles crown defeating Geneseo's Lauren Eichenauer (Rush Henrietta/Rush Henrietta) 4-6, 7-6(3), 6-0.

The Red Dragons rolled through doubles play winning all three flights. In number one doubles, Dorscheid and Amanda Husson (Middletown/Middletown) won their second consecutive title defeating New Paltz's Kerry Farrell (Rockville Center/South Side) and Eri Yamakawa (Eastchester/Eastchester) 6-1, 6-2 in the finals. McCaslin and TerBush earned the second doubles title with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Goldberg and Larson of New Paltz. Abar and Jen Hemedinger (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) won the third doubles flight with a 6-4, 6-1 win over New Paltz's Sara Goldstein (Merrick/Calhoun) and Laura Thomas (Hyde Park/Franklin D. For the second time in the last three years, New Paltz's Head Coach, Rob Bruley, was named SUNYAC Coach of the Year. Bruley helped take the Hawks to their third consecutive top-two finish at the SUNYAC Championship. His squad went 7-2 this fall and will play in next week's New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association Championship for the second straight year.
