average as she helped the Red Dragons to a 4-2 week. She had two doubles, a triple,
a home run and five RBIs.

Senior

Leitze was a perfect 5-0 as Plattsburgh
extended its winning streak to 14 games. In 28 innings, she had 45 strikeouts
and limited opponents to a .158 batting average while allowing just five runs.

Turchan was 20 of 34 with a .588 batting average
to lead the Golden Eagles to an 8-2 week. She had five doubles, 10 runs scored
and eight RBIs. She also hit her first career home run against Cortland.

Leitze went 3-0 without allowing a run, struck out 30 and walked
none as Plattsburgh went 6-0 in SUNYAC for the week. She threw a one-hitter at
Morrisville and a two-hitter against Buffalo State. She allowed just three extra-base
hits, and opponents hit just .155.

Sophomore

Tschari was 9 for 20 for the week with a .450 batting
average, including six extra base hits. She had four doubles, two homeruns and
11 RBIs. Her timely hitting helped lead the Bengals to a 4-2 week, including a
3-1 mark in SUNYAC games with a sweep at Brockport.

Sophomore (Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth)
Finch earned
the conference honor for the second consecutive week after tossing a pair of one-hit
shutouts at Oswego and Fredonia. She had 10 strikeouts in the 5-0 win over Oswego
and fanned 11 in five innings during the 8-0 win at Fredonia. Finch extended her
consecutive scoreless inning streak to 33.

Ringen was 13 of 20 for the week with
a .650 batting average and a 1.050 slugging percentage. She had two doubles, two
homeruns and 11 RBIs. She also singled in the winning run in the bottom of the
seventh in the Red Dragons' 1-0 win vs. Plattsburgh.

Finch
went 3-0 with a save and a 0.64 ERA in five appearances. She won the first game
of a doubleheader at New Paltz, then earned her first collegiate save in the nightcap.
She also hit a two-run double in her first collegiate at-bat in the win vs. SUNYIT.
Finch has not allowed a run over her last 21 innings pitched.

Motzkin went 6 of 7 (.857) in a two-game sweep of Mt.
St. Mary. Motzkin had two doubles, five runs scored, three RBIs and two stolen
bases in the two wins.

Aimee Fisher - Buffalo
State
Junior (Hamburg/Frontier)
Fisher earned four wins in two days,
helping the Bengals to a pair of two-game sweeps over Carleton and Bethel. Fisher
allowed just two runs in 12 hits in 22 innings of work with a 0.64 ERA. She also
had 13 strikeouts and registered her first shutout of the season in a 1-0 two-hitter
against Bethel.

Maher
helped Buffalo State to a 3-3 start at the USA National Training Center Games
in Clermont, Fla., hitting .467 with eight RBIs. Maher also added three doubles,
two triples and four runs scored.

Junior (East Amherst/Williamsville North)
Frieling went
2-1 in five appearances. In 24 innings, she registered 14 strikeouts, had a 0.86
ERA and pitched a three-hitter against Indiana Tech.

Litz led the Red Dragons to a 6-6 mark to start
the season at the Rebel Games in Florida, hitting .552, going 16 of 29. Litz added
seven RBIs, a pair of doubles and four runs scored.

Hicks - Oneonta
Freshman (Marlboro/Marlboro)
Hicks posted a 3-1 record
in six appearances. She registered 24 strikeouts, had a 1.17 ERA, and allowed
just four extra-base hits in 30 innings of work. She had three complete games
and came within one out of her first collegiate no-hitter against Emmanuel.

Stephanie Zweig - Plattsburgh pitcher
Senior (West Nyack/Clarkstown
South)
Zweig recorded a 2.10 ERA and 2-1 record to help nationally-ranked
Plattsburgh State go 3-3 on a tough Texas road trip to open the season. She defeated
East Texas Baptist and two-time defending American Southwest Conference champion
Hardin-Simmons before losing to current No. 2-ranked Texas-Tyler.
In
three games, Zweig threw 20 innings and struck out 12. She allowed seven runs
- six which were earned - on 18 hits and four walks.

Danielle Singer - Cortland
Freshman (Binghamton/Binghamton)
Singer
earned a win with four shutout innings in her first career start as Cortland opened
the season with a 9-0 five-inning victory over Transylvania at the Rebel Spring
Games.
