April 30
Player of the Week

Kirby Davids - Plattsburgh
Junior, SS (Brisbane, Australia/Mt. St. Michael's)
Led Plattsburgh to a 9-3 record last week with 12 games in six days. She was 20 for 32 at the plate for a .625 batting average with three doubles, a triple, five RBIs, 12 runs scored and was 4 for 4 in stolen base attempts. Defensively, she had a .967 fielding percentage with 17 putouts and 12 assists with just one error.

Stephanie Zweig - Plattsburgh
Junior (W. Nyack, NY/Clarkstown South)
Zweig was 6-1 on the week with a 1.47 ERA. In 43 innings pitched, she allowed just 10 runs on 32 hits and had 54 strikeouts. The opposition hit just .199.

Aimee Fisher - Buffalo State
Sophomore (Hamburg, NY/Frontier)
Fisher was a perfect 3-0 with a 0.65 ERA. She allowed just two earned runs in 21 2/3 innings and limited the opposition to a .182 batting average and had 23 strikeouts. She tied her own Buffalo State single-season strikeout record she set as a freshman with 138 in 100 innings.

April 23
Player of the Week

Jamie Neuner - Cortland
Senior, SS (Brewster, NY/Brewster)
Helped the Red Dragons to an 8-0 week, hitting 14 of 24 (.583) with two homeruns, four doubles and eight RBIs. She also had four stolen bases and no errors on 17 chances in the field.

Pitcher of the Week
Jaclyn Leitze - Plattsburgh
Junior (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake)
Leitze was 5-1 for the week with a 1.69 ERA. In 29 innings pitched, she allowed just 21 hits and had 49 strikeouts.

April 16
Player of the Week

Erin Fitzpatrick - New Paltz
Freshman, DH/OF (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem)
Fitzpatrick paced New Paltz to a 3-1 week, hitting .667 (10 of 15) with two homeruns, including the first of her collegiate career. She also added seven RBIs, a double and two stolen bases. Fitzpatrick leads the Hawks with a .388 batting average.

Katie Finch - Cortland
Freshman (Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth)
Finch earned the Pitcher of the Week honors for the second-consecutive week after tossing a five-inning perfect game in an 8-0 win against Oswego. She also threw a three-hitter in a win over Fredonia. For the week, she was 2-0 and allowed just three hits and one run in 12 innings with 15 strikeouts.

April 9
Player of the Week

Rachel Maxon - Brockport
Sophomore, IF (Kendall, NY/Kendall)
Maxon was 5 for 8 with four doubles and four RBIs in a two-game split at Buffalo State. She was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI in a 6-3 loss, and then paced the Golden Eagles to a 7-6 eight-inning win, going 3 for 4 with three doubles and three RBIs in the nightcap.

Katie Finch - Cortland
Freshman (Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth)
Finch tossed a complete game two-hit shutout in Cortland's 8-0 victory over Cazenovia. Finch had three strikeouts and no walks.


April 2
Player of the Week

Dominique Talbot - Cortland
Senior, 1B (Rockville Centre, NY/Southside)
Talbot was 7 of 14 (.500) with three doubles, five RBIs and four runs scored as Cortland earned splits with St. John Fisher and No. 3-ranked Ithaca. She was 5 for 6 with two doubles in two games against St. John Fisher, and added a two-run double in the top of the 10th inning in a 5-3 win over Ithaca.

Pitcher of the Week
Aimee Fisher - Buffalo State
Fisher threw a complete game two-hitter in a 7-0 win over visiting SUNYIT on Friday. Of the 21 outs in the game, Fisher retired 19 by way of strikeout. She is currently 7-0 with a 0.87 ERA and has 65 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings.

March 26
Player of the Week

Laurie Hutten - Buffalo State
Senior, 2B (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore West)
Hutten was 20 of 34 (.588) as she led the Bengals to an 8-2 week in Ft. Myers, Fla. to open the season. The leadoff hitter scored 12 runs, had five stolen bases and had a .611 on-base percentage.

Pitcher of the Week
Casey Mazurek - Fredonia
Senior (Dunkirk/Dunkirk)
Marurek posted a 3-1 record and a 0.22 ERA, allowing just one earned run, as the Blue Devils got off to a 6-4 start in Ft. Myers, Fla. She also had two saves and 51 strikeouts in 31 2/3 innings pitched. At the plate, she hit .407 (11 for 27) with three doubles and seven RBIs.

March 19
Player of the Week
Rochelle Cantor - Brockport
Junior, OF (Rochester/Brighton)
Cantor was 12 of 25 (.480) as she led the Golden Eagles to an 8-2 week in Ft. Myers, Fla. to open the season. She hit three home runs and two triples while collecting 16 RBIs and eight runs scored. She is currently slugging 1.000.


Pitcher of the Week
Rachel Zimmerman - Brockport
Junior (Jamestown/Jamestown)
Zimmerman posted a 2-0 record to start the season, including a complete game 3-0 shutout victory over Curry College. In the game, she struck out five batters and only walked two. She finished the week with a 2.80 ERA in four appearances, registering 13 strikeouts and just four walks in 14 innings.
