2006 SUNYAC SOFTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

FREDONIA, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced its Softball All-Conference team for the 2006 season. Cortland junior shortstop, Jamie Neuner (Brewster/Brewster) was named the 2006 SUNYAC Player of the Year, while Buffalo State’s Jolene Banach (Cheektowaga/ Maryvale) was named rookie of the year and Plattsburgh’s Stephanie Zweig (West Nyack/Clarkstown South) was honored as the pitcher of the year. Sean Cotter was named the 2006 SUNYAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Cardinals to a 19-1 conference record and Plattsburgh’s first-ever SUNYAC softball title.
