November 5
Scott Bergen (Schenectady/Mohonasen), Fredonia senior goalkeeper

Bergen recorded two shutouts during the SUNYAC championship weekend. In the final, he stopped one shot during Fredonia's 0-0 tie with Plattsburgh and then limited Cardinal shooters to help the Blue Devils win the penalty kick shootout, 4-2. Bergen made three saves in a 1-0 semifinal win over Cortland.

October 29
John San Filippo (Levittown/Division), Plattsburgh junior goalkeeper

San Filippo posted two shutouts in a 1-0-1 week for the Cardinals. His 14 shutouts this season breaks a school single-season record that stood for 13 years. On Oct. 23, he matched his season-high with six saves, including a number of diving stops, in a 0-0 tie at 23rd-ranked St. Lawrence. On Oct. 26, he made three saves in a 3-0 victory over Clarkson.

October 22
Peter Dagel (Rochester/Gates-Chili), Fredonia freshman forward
Dagel scored all three of Fredonia's goals as the Blue Devils posted a pair of road wins. He drilled home a shot in the 66th minute to give Fredonia a 1-0 win at Buffalo State on Oct. 17 and then scored twice in a two-minute span of the first half in a 2-1 victory at Brockport on Oct. 20. Dagel has six goals this season, including three game-winners.

October 15
Keith Manscuk (Rochester/Aquinas), Oneonta senior forward
Manscuk led the Red Dragons to a pair of league road victories this past weekend. He scored two goals in a 4-0 win at Morrisville on Oct. 12 and recorded two assists on Oct. 13 in a 4-0 win at SUNYIT. During the week, Manscuk reached a career total of 118 points, which helped him break a nearly 30-year-old school record.

October 8
Tony Tellez (Fairport/Fairport), Brockport junior defender
Tellez scored three goals in a pair of victories for the Golden Eagles. He netted an early goal in an 11-0 win over Morrisville on Oct. 5 and then scored two goals, including the overtime game-winner, in a 3-2 victory over SUNYIT on Oct. 6.

October 1
Mike Judge (Massapequa Park/Massapequa), New Paltz junior goalie
In his first start of the season and just his third appearance overall in 10 games, Judge made seven saves in a 2-0 shutout on Sept. 29 versus visiting Brockport. The win was New Paltz's first of the season and its first victory over the Golden Eagles since 2001.

September 24
Aaron Acello (East Rochester/East Rochester), Brockport junior forward

Acello scored five goals in two home victories during the week to earn Player of the Week honors for a second time. He netted two goals on Sept. 21 in a 5-1 win over Potsdam and then scored all three Golden Eagle goals, including the overtime game-winner, in a 3-2 victory over Plattsburgh on Sept. 22. The Cardinals entered the game 7-0 and had not allowed a goal prior to Acello's hat trick. Acello leads Brockport this fall with eight goals.

September 17
Scott Bergen (Schenectady/Mohonasen), Fredonia senior goalie

Bergen recorded six saves for his first shutout of the season as the Blue Devils defeated No. 15 Geneseo, 2-0, on Sept. 15. The victory avenged Fredonia's 1-0 loss to the Knights in last year's SUNYAC championship game. Bergen lowered his goals against average to 1.35 this fall and has eight shutouts in his two seasons at Fredonia.

September 10
Aaron Acello (East Rochester/East Rochester), Brockport junior forward

Acello scored three of Brockport's four goals, including two game-winning tallies, as the Golden Eagles claimed first place at the Ohio Northern/adidas Tournament over the weekend. He scored twice in a 2-0 win versus Roanoke College and netted one goal in a 2-0 victory over the College of Mount St. Joseph.

September 3
Jack Carillo (Cornwall/Ramapo), Cortland junior goalie

In his first two games as a Red Dragon, Carillo posted a pair of shutouts as Cortland finished first at the season-opening Rochester Flower City Classic. A transfer from Division II Nyack College, Carillo stopped four shots in a 1-0 win versus Rochester on Aug. 31 and made five saves on Sept. 2 in a 1-0 victory over St. John Fisher.
