The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Plattsburgh’s Pat Simone (Hartford, CT/Conard) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 31. Simone helped the Cardinals to a pair of shutout wins this week over St. Lawrence and Clarkson. He played a role in all three goals in the 3-0 win over St. Lawrence, scoring two and assisting on the other.

October 24, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Geneseo’s Yoshi Morimoto (Sapporo, Japan/Tsukisamu) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 24. Morimoto scored the game-winning goal with 1:04 remaining in the Knights’ 1-0 upset victory of No. 13 Brockport. Morimoto has three goals on 17 shots this season. His three goals have all been game winning goals.

October 17, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Plattsburgh’s Mike Figliola (Mississaugua, ON/Iona Catholic) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 16. Figliola scored his 59th career goal in a 2-1 victory over Cortland on Friday, eclipsing a 35-year-old school record for goals in a career. He added two more goals and an assist on Saturday in a 4-0 win over Oswego.

October 10, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Cortland’s Dan Dunn (Warwick/Warwick Valley) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 9. Dunn helped the Red Dragons to a pair of road conference victories over the weekend, scoring the game-winning goal in both games. He had a goal in a 2-0 win over New Paltz on Friday, and added a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at SUNYIT on Saturday.

October 3, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Brockport’s Josh Piscitelli (Batavia/Byron-Bergen) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 2. Piscitelli led the Golden Eagles to a pair of conference victories over the weekend. He had a hand in all three goals in a 3-0 win over New Paltz on Friday, scoring two and assisting on another. He followed that performance with a three-goal showing in a 6-0 win against SUNYIT on Saturday. Piscitelli leads Brockport with eight goals and 17 assists.

September 26, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Plattsburgh’s Mike Figliola (Mississauga, ON/Iona Catholic) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending September 25. Figliola led the Cardinals to a pair of SUNYAC victories over the weekend, netting three goals in a 4-0 win at SUNYIT on Friday, and he assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win at New Paltz on Sunday. Figliola currently leads the conference averaging 2.00 points-per-game.

September 19, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Fredonia’s Matt Borchard (Williamsville/Williamsville North) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending September 18. The senior goalkeeper led Fredonia to a 3-0 week with wins over Penn State Behrend, SUNYIT and New Paltz. In 262 minutes, Borchard did not allow a goal and made 14 saves. He has not allowed a goal in the last 539 minutes of play and has a 0.49 goals-against-average and a .911 save-percentage this season. In 51 career games, he has 21 shutouts.

September 12, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Fredonia's Steve Lesmes (Fredonia/Fredonia) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending September 11. Lesmes scored two goals, including the game-winner to defeat Keuka College 3-1. He scored the only goal of the game against Hiram at the 24:19 mark of the second half in the first round of the Fredonia State Days Inn Classic. Lesmes' three goals this season have come on a total of only four shots. The Blue Devils are now 3-1-1.

September 6, 2005
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced Brockport's Kevin Hauck (Rochester/Greece-Olympia) as the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending September 4. Hauck was named the Defensive MVP of the Golisano Children's Hospital Tournament as he helped host Brockport claim the championship. Hauck anchored a defense that allowed just three shots on goal in a pair of wins. The Golden Eagles blanked Medaille 2-0 in the opener, and then topped Buffalo State 5-1 in the championship game.
