CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mike Recor (Syracuse/East Syracuse-Minoa), Oswego senior midfielder
Recor tallied seven goals in leading the Lakers to a 1-1 week
and the third seed in this week's SUNYAC playoffs. After scoring
twice in a 20-5 loss to Geneseo, he tallied a career-high five
goals on six shots in a 12-6 victory over Oneonta State.
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luke Weidlein (Seaford/Seaford), Plattsburgh junior attacker
Weidlein Scored a season-high six goals and game-best seven
points in a 8-goal win at Brockport, sealing Plattsburgh's first-ever
postseason berth to the SUNYAC tournament. Also became the school's
all-time leading scorer with 173 points in just under three seasons.
Contributed two assists to help the Cardinals beat Potsdam in
back-to-back years for the first time in program history.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK
Matt Hipenbecker (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes), Cortland
senior
Hipenbecker helped the ninth-ranked Red Dragons (13-2, 6-1 SUNYAC)
clinch the second seed in the SUNYAC Tournament. He played the
first half in the win versus Brockport and stopped 11 shots in
the 13-4 win versus #16 St. Lawrence. For the week, he posted
a 3.56 goals-against average and .706 save percentage. For the
season, he has a 12-2 record with a 6.76 GAA and a .520 save percentage.
April 20
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tom Costanza (Webster/Schroeder), Geneseo senior attack
Costanza led the #11 Knights to wins against Brockport and
Morrisville, with three goals and two assists in the 18-6 victory
over the Golden Eagles on Wednesday and four goals and two assists
in the 22-1 win over Mustangs on Saturday. Costanza leads the
team with 47 points.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK
Judd Robinson (Guilderland High School), Oswego junior
Robinson collects his second-straight conference Goalie of
the Week accolades. Robinson went 1-1 including an 11-10 overtime-win
over Plattsburgh, which clinched a berth for the Lakers in the
SUNYAC playoffs for the first time since 2006. He tallied 50 saves
on the week, including a career-high 29 against the Cardinals.
April 13
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kyle Norchi (Hauppauge High School) Plattsburgh sophomore attacker
Norchi led the Cardinals with a team-high seven goals in a
1-1 week that saw the Cardinals beat Oneonta for the first time
ever, 16-14 Wednesday on the road, and play then-No. 3 ranked
Cortland to the closest game (a 4-goal loss, 12-8) since 2002.
He also had an assist and five ground balls. Norchi leads Plattsburgh
with a career-high 44 goals and 56 total points.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK
Judd Robinson (Guilderland High School), Oswego junior
Robinson paced the Lakers to a 4-0 week by recording .636
save percentage and a miniscule 5.31 goals-against average. The
team's four-game win streak is Oswego's longest since 2002 and
shares first place with nationally ranked Geneseo in the conference
standings at 3-0.
April 6
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mike Cintineo- Geneseo attacker
Senior (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls)
A senior attackman, Cintineo (Honeoye Falls/HF-Lima High School)
led the 19th-ranked Blue Knights with five goals and six points.
He also had 11 shots on goal and scooped three ground balls. With
the game close at 7-5 with 12 minutes left to play, he assisted
on a goal that sparked a five-goal outburst, and scored twice
himself during that span, to seal the win. He leads Geneseo in
goals (29) and points (33) on the season.

Dennis Costanza- Geneseo
Junior (Webster/Schroeder High School)
Costanza, a junior from Webster (Schroeder HS) backstopped Geneseo's
sixth straight win. He recorded 16 saves, stopped 76.2 percent
of the shots he faced and had 11 ground balls.
March 30
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chris DeLuca - Cortland midfield
Sophomore (Sayville/Sayville)
DeLuca helped lead the seventh-ranked Red Dragons (6-1) to
a pair of wins last week. He led the team with six points and
won 12-of-17 faceoffs in a 17-10 win at #19 Nazareth on Wednesday.
In an 11-6 win versus RIT on Saturday, DeLuca won 15-of-18 faceoffs.

Matt Hipenbecker - Cortland
Senior (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes)
Senior Matt Hipenbecker posted a pair of wins for the Red Dragons,
earning his first Goalie of the Week nod. In a win at #19 Nazareth
on Wednesday, he stopped 10 shots and collected four ground balls
in 55:22. On Saturday, Hipenbecker made a season-high 11 saves
and recorded three ground balls in an 11-6 win versus RIT. For
the season, he has a 6-1 record with a 7.79 GAA and a .500 save
percentage.
March 23
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mike Cintineo- Geneseo attacker
Senior (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls)
A senior attacker from Honeoye Falls, Cintineo scored 11 goals
and had six ground balls in the Blue Knights' two wins over Clarkson,
15-9 on March 17, and Keene State, 14-6 on March 19. He netted
a career-best seven goals in the eight-goal win versus the Owls.

Dennis Costanza- Geneseo
Junior (Webster/Schroeder High School)
Costanza, a junior from Webster (Schroeder High School), upped
his season record to 3-0 after making 21 saves against the Golden
Knights and Owls. He posted a 7.40 goals-against average for the
week versus teams receiving votes in the national rankings.

Luke Weidlein - Plattsburgh attacker
Junior (Seaford/Seaford)
Weidlein, a junior attackman from Seaford High School, led
Plattsburgh with five assists and eight points to go along with
two ground balls in a 19-12 road victory at Western Connecticut,
which was receiving votes in last week's USILA national rankings
Division III poll. He tied Dan Kalberer (1999-2001) for the school
all-time assists record with 67. For the season, he leads the
team with 17 goals and 29 points in four games.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK
Matt Billia - Plattsburgh
Senior (Baldwin/Baldwin)
A senior out of Baldwin High, Billia recorded a career-high 20
saves and three ground balls in the seven-goal victory over the
Colonials on Saturday. He stopped 20 of 31 shots on goal he faced
for a .645 save percentage. For the season, he owns a 3-1 record
and 10.83 goals-against average.

Chris DeLuca - Cortland midfield
Sophomore (Sayville/Sayville)
DeLuca won all 11 faceoffs he took through three quarters
and scooped up six ground balls in a 16-4 win versus Montclair
St. in Cortland's home opener on Wednesday. In a win versus second-ranked
Gettysburg on Saturday, DeLuca scored three goals, collected five
ground balls and won 9-of-13 faceoffs for the Red Dragons (3-

Senior (Baldwin/Baldwin)
Billia collected 18 saves in the Cardinals' 20-13, win over Utica
on Saturday, improving his season-record to 2-1.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luke Weidlein - Plattsburgh attacker
Junior (Seaford/Seaford)
Coming off the first 30-30 season (goals-assists) in Plattsburgh
history, Luke Weidlein picked up where he left off in 2008. Weidlein
led the Cardinals with nine goals, 14 points and nine ground balls
during a 1-1 week. He had career highs of six goals and eight
points in a 13-12 season-opening loss at Merchant Marine. Weidlein
collected three goals and three assists in Cardinals', 21-7 win
over Farmingdale St.
GOALIE OF THE WEEK
Nick Murray - Oneonta
Senior (West Babylon/West Babylon)
Murray made 11 saves in helping Oneonta defeat Guilford,
13-6, on the road Saturday for the team's initial victory of 2009.
