February 25
Kyle Gordon (Canandaigua/Canandaigua), Fredonia senior guard
With his team virtually needing to win three times to qualify for the SUNYAC Tournament, Gordon was at his best when it counted for the Blue Devils. He averaged 12.3 points and 6.3 points during three victories, including 18 points and eight rebounds in a pivotal 67-64 victory over Oswego. In that game, Gordon connected on 9 of 11 shots. He followed that up with a 17-point effort on 7 of 9 shooting vs. Morrisville State.

Gordon shot 70.8 percent from the field during the week. He also averaged 2.3 assists per game. Fredonia State will meet No. 1 seed and nationally-ranked Plattsburgh when the tournament starts Tuesday with quarterfinal games.

February 18
Anthony Williams (Brooklyn/Paul Robeson), Plattsburgh senior guard
Williams became Plattsburgh's all-time leading scorer when he netted a game-high 29 points in an 83-59 conference win against Oneonta on "Senior Day." He also scored 16 of his game-high 30 points in the second half to help Plattsburgh beat New Paltz, 87-68, after the teams were tied at the intermission.

For the week, Williams averaged 29.5 points and had a team-high 12 assists as part of a 2.40 assist-to-turnover ratio in a pair of Cardinal wins. He has scored 1,562 points with the Cardinals and 1,643 as a collegian, including one season at NCAA Division I Morgan State.

February 11
Anthony Williams (Brooklyn/Paul Robeson), Plattsburgh senior guard
Williams averaged 27.5 points per game as the nationally-ranked Cardinals went 2-0 last week. He scored 22 of his game-high 29 points in the second half at the Cardinals overcame a 22-point deficit to defeat Middlebury, 78-74, in non-conference action. In an 87-78 SUNYAC win vs. Potsdam, Williams scored 24 of his game-best 26 points in the second half and became only the second Cardinal to ever reach the 1,500-point plateau (1,503).

Williams currently averages 23.6 points per game, which leads the conference. This is the second time this season he has been named SUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. He was previously named Nov. 19.

February 4
Dave Golembiowski (Barnevald/Holland Patent), SUNYIT freshman forward
Golembiowski averaged 34 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game for the Wildcats in a pair of close SUNYAC setbacks. He began the week with 32 points, eight rebounds, three steals, three blocks and a career-high eight 3-pointers in a 3-point loss on Tuesday at Brockport. He scored 11 points in the final 51 seconds of the game to help SUNYIT mount a late comeback attempt. On Saturday against Morrisville, he netted a career-high 36 points (21 in the first half) and added seven rebounds.

Golembiowski shot 56 percent (23 of 41) from the floor, 50 percent (12 of 24) from three-point range, and 91 percent (10 of 11) from the line for the week.

January 28
Nick Perioli (Liverpool/Liverpool), Oswego senior guard
Perioli led the Lakers to three wins. He played all 120 minutes in the three games and collected 19 assists against six turnovers. He averaged 17.3 points, including a season-high 27 points in a 91-83 victory over Buffalo State.

Perioli also averaged 4.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.67 steals while shooting 41 percent from the field (18 of 44) and 87 percent from the foul line (13 of 15). The Lakers improved to 6-2 in the conference, 12-4 overall.

January 21
Mike Lewis (Central Square/Central Square), Cortland sophomore forward
The Red Dragons won two of three games during the week behind Lewis's averages of 18.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He had games of 22 points vs. Lebanon Valley and 25 points vs. No. 21 ranked Plattsburgh, the Red Dragons' lone loss of the week.

Lewis has scored 20 or more points in four of his last five games. For the week, Lewis shot 73.5 percent from the field (25 of 34), the best of the seven men nominated for the weekly award. He also averaged 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals.

January 14
Sherod Harris (Rochester/Gates-Chili), Brockport senior guard
Harris received the SUNYAC honor for the second straight week. He averaged 21 points, 4.7 rebounds, four assists and 2.3 steals in three J.P. Morgan/Chase Tournament games, leading the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 record, good for third place. Harris shot 57.1 percent from the field (20 of 35), including 46.6 percent on three-point shots (7 of 15), and was 16 of 16 from the foul line. His seven rebounds vs. St. John Fisher was his best game as a collegian. He was named to the Morgan/Chase all-tournament team.

Nick Perioli (Liverpool/Liverpool), Oswego senior guard
During Oswego's 2-1 week, Perioli collected 16 assists against one turnover. He averaged 18.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He was 7 of 13 from beyond the arc (53.8 percent) and 13 of 14 from the foul line (92.9 percent). He collected six steals in the three games to become the school's all-time steals leader (188). Earlier this season, he became Oswego State's all-time leader in career assists.

January 7
Sherod Harris (Rochester/Gates-Chili), Brockport senior guard
Harris averaged 22.7 points in three games while shooting 60.5 percent from the field (26 of 43). In addition, he was 8 of 18 (44.4 percent) from beyond the arc, and was 8 of 10 from the foul line. Harris's best game of the three was a 29-point effort vs. Clarion, an NCAA Division II team. He also clicked for 25 points vs. St. Lawrence.

December 17
Tommy Downing (Staten Island/Curtis), Oswego junior forward

Downing led Oswego at both ends of the floor and was named Most Valuable Player at the Harold J. Brodie Tournament at Rochester Institute of Technology. He scored 16 points in a win over Hilbert and also held Hilbert's best scorer to 2-for-16 shooting from the field in the game. Downing also had six rebounds and a blocked shot. In the championship game against RIT, Downing had seven rebounds, a blocked shot and five steals while also scoring a team-high 21 points.

For the weekend, Downing shot 12-for-19 from the floor including 6-for-11 from behind the three-point line. He also made 7 of 8 free-throw attempts.

December 10
Travis Gorham (Bridgeport, Conn./Bridgeport), Plattsburgh senior forward
Gorham averaged a double-double of 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds as the No. 13-ranked Cardinals won a pair of games. He had 16 points and nine rebounds in a 77-63 victory over Clarkson, and season-highs of 21 points and 14 rebounds in an 88-81 SUNYAC win over Oswego in the Cardinals' home opener. Gorham shot 68.2 percent from the field (15 of 22) and averaged 3.0 assists per game.

December 3
Dion Mozelle (Rego Park/Xaverian), Buffalo State senior forward
Mozelle posted his eighth career double-double in an 81-76 SUNYAC win over SUNYIT on Nov. 30. He scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds. Mozelle added four assists, two steals and shot 53.3 percent (8 of 15) from the field in Buffalo State's only action of the week. He leads the Bengals with 16.7 points and 7.7 rebounds.

November 26
Paul Oliver (Phoenix/John C. Birdlebough), Cortland sophomore forward/center

Oliver was named to the Rochester Holiday Inn Airport Invitational all-tournament team after scoring a career-high 13 points in a 72-50 loss to No. 9 Rochester in the first round and scoring 12 points and grabbing a career-high 11 rebounds in a 87-84 victory over No. 20 Baldwin-Wallace in the consolation game. Oliver averaged 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and shot 66.7 percent from the field (14 of 21) in three games during the week.

November 19
Anthony Williams (Brooklyn/Paul Robeson), Plattsburgh senior guard

Williams was chosen most valuable player of the SUNY Old Westbury Panther Classic after leading the No. 16 Cardinals to wins over Greensboro and host SUNY Westbury. He scored 27 points in each game and had 12 assists in the two games against three turnovers, a 4-to-1 ratio. He shot 52.6 percent from the field (20 of 38) and 42.1 percent from three-point range (8 of 19). He also averaged 2.5 steals and 3.0 rebounds in the two tournament games.
