Potsdam to Play Oswego in Men's Basketball Championship Game

UTICA, NY - Third seeded Oswego upset second seeded Cortland 56-48 in the first men's semifinal game tonight. Cortland ends their season at 18-9 overall. Sophomore Dave Jutton (Red Hook/Red Hook) led the Red Dragons with 15 points and Senior Ben Oliver (Batavia/Batavia) led the Lakers with 13 points. Oswego advances to the championship game and will face top-seeded Potsdam after they defeated fourth seeded Plattsburgh 83-70 in the second semifinal game tonight. Plattsburgh ends their season at 17-10. Junior Kris Gibbs-Smith (Rochester/John Marshall) led the Cardinals with 21 points and senior Eldon Harris (Albany/Albany) led the Bears with 25 points.

Potsdam plays Oswego in the men's championship game at 4:00 p.m tomorrow at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
