MEN'S TRACK
Nick Guarino, Fredonia Junior (Bergen/Byron-Bergen)
Guarino won the mile and 800 and set new SUNYAC meet records (4:10.99, 1:53.62) at the SUNYAC Championships this weekend. He was named the Most Outstanding Male Track Athlete of the meet.
WOMEN'S TRACK
LaToya Edwards, Buffalo State (Brooklyn/Clara Barton)
Edwards was named the Most Outstanding Female Track Athlete of the meet at the SUNYAC championships. She placed second in the 55 meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 7.22. She also placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.65.
MEN'S FIELD
Wenley Louis, Geneseo Sophomore (Rochester/Irondequoit)
Louis was named Most Outstanding Male Field Athlete of the meet at the SUNYAC championships. He set new meet record in the long jump with an NCAA provisional qualifying distance of 7.17m. He also won the triple jump with an NCAA provisional qualifying distance of 14.34m.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Jackie Majka, Fredonia Junior (Depew/Depew)
Majka won two events - high jump (1.61m) and long jump (5.42m) - and finished second in the triple jump (11.15m) at the SUNYAC Championships. She was named the Most Outstanding Female Field Athlete of the meet.
February 22
MEN'S TRACK
Pete Manktelow, Brockport Senior (Hornell/Hornell)
Manktelow was the highest Division III finisher in the mile at the Kent State Open Meet placing third in a school-record and NCAA Provisional time of 4:13.00. He shaved three seconds off the school record and is just two seconds shy of the NCAA Automatic standard.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Erica Johnson, Buffalo State Junior (Poughkeepsie/FDR)
Johnson crossed first in the 60-meter dash at the Kent State Final Tune-Up competing against 63 other entries from Divisions I, II and III. Johnson set a new school record with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 7.65 seconds.
MEN'S FIELD
Ray Lund, Brockport Junior (Thiells/North Rockland)
Lund eclipsed the NCAA Provisional mark in the weight throw for the fourth time this season as he finished 12th overall but was the top Division III finisher at the Kent State Open. The field included a US Olympic team member and the current US record holder in the event.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Jackie Majka, Fredonia Junior (Depew/Depew)
Majka won the high jump with a jump of 1.60, finished 3rd in triple jump (10.75) and fourth in the long jump (5.29) -- all season's bests and all ECAC marks -- at the Mt. Union Open.
February 16
MEN'S TRACK
Gino Bisceglia, Cortland Junior (Norwood/Norwood-Norfolk)
Bisceglia automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships and broke his own school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.14 seconds at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. He finished 10th out of 190 competitors in the event.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Liz Maziejka, Oneonta Junior (Fort Edward/Hudson Falls)
At the Boston University Valentine Invitational, Maziejka finished 23rd in the 400m with an NCAA provisional time of 57.91 and was part of the 4x400m relay team that finished 9th with an NCAA provisional time of 3:56:46.
MEN'S FIELD
Mike Chamberlain, Oswego Sophomore (Rochester/Gates-Chili)
Chamberlain posted the top result by a Division III athlete in the triple jump with an NCAA provisional-qualifying leap of 46 feet, 7.25 inches (14.20 m) to earn fifth place at the Robert Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell. Chamberlain, who also placed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 6.75 inches (6.57 m), fell 2.25 inches of breaking the school record in the triple jump.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Christi Nassauer, Cortland Freshman (Mount Sinai/Mount Sinai)
Nassauer finished sixth in the pole vault with an ECAC-qualifying height of 3.20 meters (10' 6 ) at the Cornell University Kane Invitational.
February 8
MEN'S TRACK
Durell Cull, Oneonta Junior (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy)
At the Syracuse University Invitational Cull was victorious in the 200m dash in an ECAC time of 22.41 and second in the 55m dash (1st in SUNYAC) in an ECAC time of 6.49, narrowly missing the NCAA Provisional mark by .02 seconds.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Erica Johnson, Buffalo State Junior (Poughkeepsie/FD Roosevelt)
Johnson won the 55-meter dash at the Mt. Union Invitational with a school record and NCAA provisional time of 7.12 seconds. The time is the second fastest in Division III this year. She was also second in the 200-meter dash (26.67).
MEN'S FIELD
Wenley Louis, Geneseo Sophomore (Rochester/Irondequoit)
Louis won the triple jump at the Syracuse Invitational with a school-record and NCAA provisional distance of 14.56 meters, which is the second best in Division III this season.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Rachel Serpe, Geneseo Freshman (Rochester/Gates-Chili)
Serpe placed fifth in the pole vault at the Syracuse Invitational with a school-record height of 3.10 meters.
February 1
MEN'S TRACK
Lee Berube, Geneseo Sophomore (Putnam Station/Ticonderoga)
Berube broke a 33-year old SUNYAC record with a fourth-place time of 8:17.29 in the 3,000 meters at Boston University's Terrier Invitational and anchored Geneseo's winning Distance Medley Relay with Ryan O'Connor, Pat Gallagher and Henry Potter to an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 9:55.25, which is the current fastest in Division III.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Liz Montgomery, Geneseo GR (Glenville/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake)
Montgomery qualified provisionally for the NCAA championships with a time of 17:35.02 in the 5,000 meters at the Boston University Terrier Invitational.
MEN'S FIELD
Mike Chamberlain, Oswego Sophomore (Rochester/Gates-Chili)
Chamberlain took first place in the triple jump with an ECAC-qualifying leap of 13.73 meters at the Colgate Class of '32 Invitational.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Shannon Young, Plattsburgh Senior (Harwood, Vt./Harwood Union)
Young placed first in the shot put and qualified for the ECAC Championships with a toss of 11.92m at the Colgate Class of '32 Invitational. Her mark was .86m farther than her nearest SUNYAC competitor and a personal best this season.
January 25
MEN'S TRACK
Nick Guarino, Fredonia Junior (Bergen/Byron-Bergen)
Guarino ran an NCAA provisional time of 1:54.37, en route to victory in the 800 at the Mary Phillips Invitational. He was also a part of the winning distance medley relay.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Lauren Brunetto, Oneonta Sophomore (Fishkill/Beacon)
Brunetto came in first in the 500 at the St.Lawrence invitational, in a time of 1:19.30, which hit the ECAC qualifying standard for the event. She also ran the anchor leg for the 4x200 relay that came in second in a time of 1:50.40, which was also an ECAC qualifying mark.
MEN'S FIELD
Nick Mieney, Brockport Senior (Byron/Byron-Bergen)
Mieney won the pole vault at the St. Lawrence University Invitational with an NCAA Provisional qualifying height of 15' 5".
WOMEN'S FIELD
Jackie Majka, Fredonia Senior (Depew/Depew)
Majka was a triple winner at the Mary Phillips Invitational with season bests and SUNYAC qualifiers in all three of the jumps -- long jump, high jump, and triple jump.
January 18
MEN'S TRACK
Tim Chichester, Geneseo Junior (Mt. Morris/Mt. Morris)
Chichester won the 3,000 meters at the RIT Invitational on Saturday in a school record and ECAC-qualifying time of 8:30.51, breaking six-time All-American Ted Turner's 2004 mark.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Angeleen Tauriello, Oswego Freshman (Rochester/Gates-Chili)
Tauriello established a new school record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:47.14 at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.
MEN'S FIELD
Wenley Louis, Geneseo Sophomore (Rochester/Irondequoit)
Louis won the long jump at the RIT Invitational with a 2010 NCAA Division III season-best and automatic qualifying distance of 7.58 meters and placed third in the triple jump with an ECAC-qualifying leap of 13.52 meters.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Kristin Shumway, Geneseo Senior (Potsdam/Potsdam)
Shumway won the 400 meters in 60.80 and the triple jump with a distance of 10.98 meters and finished second in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters at the RIT Invitational.
December 14
MEN'S TRACK
Nate Williams, Plattsburgh Freshman
Williams placed first in the 200m dash (23.28) at the St. Lawrence Holiday relays and qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 4x200m relay in a time of 1:33.60 along with Justin Bieber, Brian Drollette and Peter Hamm.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Nikki Schafer, Cortland Freshman (Troy/Columbia)
Schafer won the 55-meter hurdles with an ECAC-qualifying time of 8.81 seconds (8.72 in prelims) at the St. Lawrence Holiday Relays. She also was part of a second-place 4x200-meter relay team (ECAC-qualifying 1:50.34).

Wenley Louis, Geneseo Sophomore (Rochester/Irondequoit)
Louis won the long jump in an NCAA provisional distance of 6.99 meters and the triple jump with an ECAC-qualifying leap of 13.68 meters at the RIT Invitational on Saturday.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Kristin Shumway, Geneseo Senior (Potsdam/Potsdam)
Shumway won the high jump (1.58 m) and placed second in the triple jump (10.80 m) and the 400 meters (1:00.98) at the RIT Invitational on Saturday.

MEN'S TRACK
Lee Berube, Geneseo Sophomore (Putnam Station/Ticonderoga)
Berube raced to a first place finish in the 5,000 meters with an NCAA provisional and school record time of 14:30.89 at the Cornell Relays.
WOMEN'S TRACK
Lauren Mesi, Brockport Senior (East Aurora/Clarence)
Mesi won the 5,000 meter race with a time of 18:28:34 on Saturday at the Cornell Open. She won the race by more than 20 seconds.
MEN'S FIELD
Ryan Pericozzi, Cortland Sophomore (Lancaster/Lancaster)
Pericozzi provisionally qualified for the NCAA Div. III Championships and tied a Cortland school indoor record with his height of 4.90 meters (16' 0.75") in the pole vault at the Cornell Relays. He finished third overall and was the second-best collegiate competitor in the event.
WOMEN'S FIELD
Sarah Timmons, Oneonta Sophomore (Schodack/Maple Hill)
Timmons qualified for the ECAC Championships in the weight throw with a toss of 14.27 meters. She placed 4th overall and broke her own school record in the process. She also placed 4th in the shot put with a SUNYAC qualifying throw of 10.95 meters.
