18 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Colin MacLennan - Potsdam forward Freshman (Whitby,
Ont./Ajax Attack) MacLennan scored the game-winning goal for the Bears
in a 4-2 win over third-ranked and conference leader Plattsburgh. The victory,
coupled with a Cortland loss, gave Potsdam home-ice advantage in the quarterfinal
round of the SUNYAC playoffs.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Rob Barnhardt
- Potsdam Senior (Fort Erie, Ont./Welland Cougars) Barnhardt stopped
36 shots, leading an outstanding defensive effort in the Bears' 4-2 victory over
third-ranked Plattsburgh State. Barnhardt's strong play helped Potsdam clinch
a home playoff game in the SUNYAC quarterfinals against Cortland. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Fraser Smith - Potsdam forward Freshman (Fonthill, Ont./Oakville
Blades) Smith scored an empty-net goal after assisting on the Bears first
tally in a 4-2 win over third-ranked Plattsburgh. He leads all Potsdam freshmen
in scoring with 16 points.

11 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Matt Whitehead - Oswego forward Junior (Newmarket,
Ont./Newmarket Hurricanes) Whitehead had three points in a 5-2 win at Buffalo
State and then scored the game-winning goal in a Lakers' 4-1 win at Fredonia that
clinched second place in the SUNYAC and a first-round bye in the conference playoffs.
He now has 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points on the season.
GOALTENDER
OF THE WEEK Ryan Scott - Oswego Senior (Williamsville/Abitibi Eskimos) Scott
helped Oswego State to a pair of road victories against Buffalo State (5-2 on
Friday) and Fredonia (4-1 on Saturday) with solid play all weekend; the Lakers
clinched second place in the conference. Scott made 54 saves and allowed only
three goals in the two games. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Ryan
Corry - Plattsburgh defenseman Freshman (Calgary, Alb./Calgary Royals) Corry
scored what proved to be the game-winning power play goal on the road in Brockport,
putting Plattsburgh in front to stay at 4:06 of the third period. He assisted
on another man-advantage goal in the first when the Cardinals grabbed a 2-1 lead
and finished the weekend with 10 shots and a plus-3 rating while helping the defense
limit opponents to 21 shots over two games. Corry leads SUNYAC freshman defensemen
in points (20) and assists (17).

4 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Ryan Ellis - Oswego forward Junior (Georgetown,
Ont./Oakville Blades) Ellis posted an impressive 8-point weekend as the
Lakers went 2-0 during the week. He had three assists in a 5-4 win over Geneseo
and a hat trick and two assists during a 9-2 victory against Brockport. Ellis
leads Oswego with 33 points.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Pat Street -
Fredonia Sophomore (Annapolis, Md./Mount St. Joseph) Street improved
his SUNYAC record to 7-1-0 on the season with two road wins at Potsdam (3-2, OT)
and Plattsburgh (3-1) in which he posted a 2.00 GAA and a 93.0 save percentage.
The Fredonia goaltender also had a shutout intact versus No.3-ranked Plattsburgh
until the Cardinals scored with 1:22 left. ROOKIE OF THE
WEEK Greg Haney - Cortland forward Freshman (Marcellus/National Sports Academy) Haney
had a pair of assists in Cortland's 4-2 victory over Brockport on Friday and then
added a third to his tally on Saturday night in a come-from-behind win against
Geneseo which extended Cortland's home winning streak to eight games. Haney now
has 10 points (two goals and eight assists) in his last eight contests. The Red
Dragons are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games and possess an 11-9-2 overall record
(6-6-1 SUNYAC). January 28 PLAYER
OF THE WEEK Eric Satim - Plattsburgh forward Freshman (Montreal, Que./Millbrook
School) Satim came through in the clutch for the No.3 -ranked Cardinals,
helping Plattsburgh post identical 3-2 victories over SUNYAC opponents Oswego
and Cortland. Satim's goal on Jan. 25 sent the game to overtime against defending
national champion Oswego and then his second goal of the weekend tied the Jan.
26 game with Cortland at 2-2.

with 45 seconds remaining to seal the win over Cortland and finished with four
points on the weekend
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Bryan Hince - Plattsburgh Freshman
(Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's Lincolns) Hince posted 40 saves in victories
over Oswego and Cortland, recording a .909 save percentage and 1.93 goals-against
average. On the season, Hince leads the SUNYAC with 1.91 GAA and is now tied for
the NCAA Division III lead in wins with 15. ROOKIE OF THE
WEEK Graham Fallon - Cortland forward Freshman (Endicott/Binghamton Jr.
Senators) Fallon's two third-period goals against Potsdam, including one
to forge a 5-5 tie with 4:04 left, helped the Red Dragons come from behind to
earn one point in conference play. On Jan. 26, Fallon added an assist to his
tally for the weekend as Cortland lost a close battle at No. 3-ranked Plattsburgh.
He now has nine points on the season (six goals and three assists).
January
21 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nick Rolls - Plattsburgh defenseman Junior (Marysville,
Mich./Sarnia Blast) Rolls recorded a career-high three goals in Plattsburgh's
8-1 win over Skidmore on Jan. 15. The hat trick is believed to be the first in
team history by a defenseman. Rolls also leads SUNYAC defensemen with 14 power-play
points and nine power-play goals.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Bryan Hince
- Plattsburgh Freshman (Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's Lincolns) Hince
recorded 12 saves in an 8-1 victory over Skidmore and leads the SUNYAC in goals-against
average (1.92), minutes played (882), win percentage (.867) and is second in the
league in save percentage (.920). He also leads NCAA Division III with 13 wins. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Graham Fallon - Cortland forward Freshman (Endicott/Binghamton
Jr. Senators) Fallon netted two goals during Cortland's 8-3 win over Morrisville
as the Red Dragons claimed their sixth straight win. The pair of scores improved
Fallon's stats to six total points on the year (four goals and two assists).
January
14 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nick Petriello - Buffalo State forward Freshman
(St. Catharines, Ont./St. Catharines Falcons) Petriello earned five points
in two road wins over the weekend as the Bengals defeated Johnson and Wales, 6-2
on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday. He had three assists in the opener against the
Wildcats. The SUNYAC's leading scorer with 24 points, Petriello has 11 goals and
13 assists.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Bryan Hince - Plattsburgh Freshman
(Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's Lincolns) Hince stopped 31 of 33 shots to
help No. 3-ranked Plattsburgh State beat No. 10 Norwich, 3-2, for the Cardinals'
first-ever win over the Cadets at Kreitzberg Arena in nine tries. Norwich outshot
Plattsburgh 16-3 in the first period, but Hince preserved a 1-1 tie at the time.
He leads the SUNYAC in goals-against average (1.92) and wins (12). ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Jarrett Gold - Cortland forward Freshman (East Setauket/New
York Bobcats) Gold registered his first career hat trick versus Lebanon
Valley, a 6-1 win, and scored the game-winning goals in both wins against Plymouth
State (8-4 and 4-1), helping lead Cortland to a 3-0 week. The freshman forward
compiled six goals and eight points for the week. Gold has scored 13 points in
his last five games, all Cortland victories. He leads the team in points (16)
and goals (9).
January
7 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Brendan McLaughlin - Oswego forward Junior
(Brampton, Ont./Brampton Capitals) McLaughlin tallied six points during
the week, finishing with three goals and three assists, during three games including
a 3-1 loss to Amherst, a 4-1 win over Curry and a 4-3 win over New England College.
The Lakers' leading scorer in 2006-07, McLaughlin has accumulated six goals and
eight assists in 07-08. GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Bryan
Hince - Plattsburgh Freshman (Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's Lincolns) Hince
recorded 31 saves in the championship game of the Cardinal Classic Saturday night
at Stafford Ice Arena in Plattsburgh, helping the No.3-ranked Cardinals defeat
St. Scholastica (Minn.). Hince, who finished the game with a .939 save percentage,
is the SUNYAC leader in goals-against average at 1.92 and victories with 11. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Dylan Clarke - Plattsburgh forward Freshman (Belleville, Ont./Kingston
Voyageurs) Clarke contributed two goals and an assist, with six shots and
a plus-two rating in Plattsburgh wins over Tufts (9-2) and St. Scholastica (3-2)
in the Cardinal Classic. His 3-point weekend earned him a spot on the Cardinal
Classic All-Tournament Team. He has 11 goals and nine assists on the season.

10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Chris Brown - Brockport defenseman Senior
(Toronto, Ont./North York Rangers) In Brockport's 4-4 tie against co-No.
1 Elmira, Brown assisted on the team's first goal, tying the game at 1-1 in the
first period. Three minutes later, he scored to give the Golden Eagles a 2-1 lead.
Brown leads all Brockport defensemen with nine points.
GOALTENDER OF
THE WEEK Derek Jokic - Geneseo Senior (Petersburg, Ont./Kitchener Dutchmen) Jokic
had a shutout going until 11 seconds left in the Ice Knights' 2-1 win over Castleton
State. He made 27 saves to gain his fourth win of the season. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Joe Hall - Oswego forward Freshman (Schaumberg, Ill./Wellington
Dukes) Hall had four points in the home-and-home weekend series sweep of
Morrisville, 7-1 and 6-5, scoring a goal and an assist in each game including
the assist on the game-winning goal on Dec. 8.
December
3 CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Zach Dehm - Cortland forward Senior
(Trumbull, Conn./Sacred Heart) Dehm recorded his first career hat trick
in the 5-3 win vs. Buffalo State on Dec. 1 as the Red Dragons came back from a
three-goal deficit. He scored two power-play goals - the second being the game-winner
in the third period - and added a game-clinching empty net goal with 15 seconds
remaining. Dehm is tied for the team lead in scoring with 12 points and leads
the Red Dragons with eight assists.
Riley Hill - Plattsburgh forward Junior
(Markham, Ont./Markham Waxers) Hill tied for the team lead with four points
this weekend, helping No. 3 Plattsburgh to a SUNYAC sweep at home. On Dec. 1,
he scored the game-tying goal against Geneseo to force overtime and assisted on
C.J. Tozzo's game-winner while shorthanded to cap a Cardinal two-goal comeback.
GOALTENDER
OF THE WEEK Todd Sheridan - Brockport Sophomore (Edison/Sarnia Blast) Sheridan
made his first start since Nov. 2 and stopped 31 shots including 13 in the third
period to defeat Potsdam, 3-1, on Dec. 1. It was the first Golden Eagle win in
Potsdam since the 1997-98 season and only the second in almost 20 years. Sheridan
is 2-2 on the season with 2.36 goals-against average. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Dylan
Clarke - Plattsburgh forward Freshman (Belleville, Ont./Kingston Voyageurs) Clarke
tied for the team lead with four points (two goals and two assists) to help No.
3-ranked Plattsburgh sweep a SUNYAC weekend at home. He tied a career-high with
three points in a 6-1 win versus Brockport on Nov. 30.

26 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nick Rolls - Plattsburgh defenseman Junior
(Marysville, Mich./Sarnia Blast) Rolls was named the Most Valuable Player
of the 2007 PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout, which Plattsburgh won with victories
over Saint John's (4-3 on Nov. 23) and No. 11 Norwich (5-3 on Nov. 24). Rolls
scored two goals via the power play that either put Plattsburgh ahead or tied
the game. The Cardinals captured their first Shootout title since 1999, beating
defending tournament champion Norwich.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Bryan
Hince - Plattsburgh Freshman (Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's Lincolns) Hince
backstopped No. 7 Plattsburgh to its first Shootout championship in eight years,
compiling 44 saves and a 2.93 goals-against average in two wins. He made 10 saves
in the third period against 11th-ranked Norwich to preserve the title for the
Cardinals. Hince was named to the Shootout all-tournament team. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Dan Sliasis - Plattsburgh forward Freshman (Georgetown, Ont./Guelph
Dominators) The freshman was selected the Most Outstanding Rookie of the
PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout hosted by Plattsburgh. He had a goal and an
assist against Saint John's in the semifinals and scored another goal versus Norwich
in the finals.

OF THE WEEK Peter Magagna - Oswego forward Junior (Orangeville, Ont./Wellington
Dukes) Magagna's four-point night helped Oswego defeat Cortland 6-1 and
improve to 4-1 in the SUNYAC. He also had a goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to No.
9 Hobart.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Derek Jokic - Geneseo Senior
(Petersburg, Ont./Kitchener Dutchmen) Jokic stopped 29 shots in a 3-1 win
over rival Brockport, improving the Knights record to 4-3 in the SUNYAC. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Steven Rizer - Fredonia defenseman Freshman (Smithtown/Capital
District) Rizer scored the game-winning goal in a 4-3 win over Buffalo
State. He also collected two assists.
November
12 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Gordon Pritchard - Brockport forward Senior (Yorkton,
Sask./Neepawa Natives) Pritchard registered four points in a 7-3 win Friday
over Cortland and then assisted on two more goals in a 4-3 loss to nationally-ranked
Oswego on Saturday for a six-point weekend. He is second on the Golden Eagles
with 10 points, including seven assists, on the season.
GOALTENDER OF
THE WEEK Ryan Scott - Oswego Senior (Williamsville/Abitibi Eskimos) Scott's
28-save shutout at Geneseo, a 5-0 Lakers win, was his first of the season and
seventh of his career, making him the all-time leader at Oswego State. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Rob Sgarbossa - Morrisville forward Freshman (Campbellville,
Ont./Christ the King) Sgarbossa assisted on three goals in Morrisville's
5-2 win over Lebanon Valley on Friday night. On Saturday, he scored the only two
goals for the Mustangs in a 4-2 loss to Lebanon Valley.

5 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Dylan Clarke - Plattsburgh freshman Freshman (Belleville,
Ont./Kingston Voyageurs) Clarke all Plattsburgh scorers with four points
in two SUNYAC road wins, including a 2-point night in a 4-2 upset of top-ranked
and defending NCAA champion Oswego. Clarke was credited with the game-winning
goal against the Lakers, and also had an assist that gave Plattsburgh the lead
for good at 2-1. He is tied for the conference goal-scoring lead with five. GOALTENDER
OF THE WEEK Bryan Hince - Plattsburgh Freshman (Tillsonburg, Ont./St. Mary's
Lincolns) Hince stopped 25 of 27 shots he faced as the 14th-ranked Cardinals
became the first team to defeat Oswego twice in its new arena. Hince stood tall
in the third period when he made nine saves and helped Plattsburgh kill off two
late penalties. He has a 1.33 goals-against average, which tops the SUNYAC. ROOKIE
OF THE WEEK Nick Petriello - Buffalo State forward Freshman (St. Catharines,
Ont./Holy Cross H.S.) Petriello led the Bengals to a 4-3 win over Geneseo
on Friday with a two goals and assisted on the overtime game-winner. Petriello
also picked up a goal in a 4-4 tie against Brockport the following night, putting
him tied for the conference lead with five goals.

29 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Mathieu Cyr - Geneseo forward Senior (New Maryland,
N.B./The Hoosac School) Cyr scored three goals and an assist in Geneseo's
conference sweep of Morrisville over the weekend. He scored a goal in a 3-2 win
on Friday and then had a 3-point effort in a 5-2 victory the following night.
He leads the team in scoring with six points.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Mike
Mistretta - Cortland Junior (Buffalo/Northland College) Mistretta (Buffalo/Northland
College) earned his first career win as a Red Dragon, stopping 25 shots as Cortland
defeated Lebanon Valley on the road, 6-3. The result also put the Red Dragons
in the win column for the first time in three starts.
ROOKIE OF THE
WEEK Brent Fallon - Cortland defenseman Freshman (Endicott/Binghamton Junior
Senators) Fallon registered a goal and two assists, including his first
career score on a short-handed effort, in Cortland's three-goal triumph at Lebanon
Valley on Saturday. He leads the Red Dragons with three assists and is tied for
the team lead with four points.

22 PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nick Rolls - Plattsburgh defenseman Junior
(Marysville, Mich./Sarnia Blast) Rolls, a defenseman, recorded two goals
and an assist to help the No. 14 -ranked Cardinals sweep a two-game series against
Morrisville at home. In Friday's 5-1 season-opening win, he assisted on a power
play goal and then during Saturday's 6-2 victory, Rolls scored two power play
goals. During the weekend, he helped anchor a defensive unit that allowed just
27 shots in two games.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK Pat Street - Fredonia Sophomore
(Annapolis, Md./The Gunnery School) Street helped the Blue Devils to a
1-0-1 record in the SUNYAC Challenge, posting a 1.92 goals-against average and
a .934 save percentage. He made 23 saves in a 5-2 win over Cortland and then stopped
34 shots during a 2-2 tie with No. 4 Manhattanville.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Nick
Petriello - Buffalo State forward Freshman (St. Catharines, Ont./Holy
Cross H.S.) Petriello scored a goal and made three assists to make SUNYAC
Challenge All-Tournament team. In his collegiate debut, he made two assists during
a 4-2 loss to fourth-ranked Manhattanville. During a 4-1 win over Cortland, he
had a goal and an assist.
