Player of the Week:
Kenny Daleo, SUNY Brockport
(Sr., F, St. Louis, Missouri)
Daleo scored a goal in each of the games over the weekend. His score
with just three seconds left in regulation Friday sent the game into
OT that Brockport eventually won at fifth-ranked Oswego, 3-2. At Cortland
Saturday, he scored midway through the first period for a 3-1 Brockport
lead. The Red Dragons eventually went on to tie the Golden Eagles,
4-4.
Rookie of the Week:
Bryant Wilson, Plattsburgh State
(Fr., F, Toronto, ONT)
Wilson tallied his first career hat-trick in an 8-0 victory over
Buffalo State that clinched home ice in the first round of the SUNYAC
playoffs. Prior to the game he had scored just three goals all season.
Goaltender of the Week:
Brian Tefft, SUNY Brockport
( Sr., Blasdell, N.Y.)
Tefft made 107 saves in two road games, as the Golden Eagles remained
in the hunt for their first playoff appearance since the 1999-2000
season. Friday, Tefft made 54 saves in a 3-2 win at fifth-ranked Oswego.
He stopped 22 in the first period and 17 in the third as Brockport
won despite being outshot, 56-24. Saturday, in a 4-4 tie at Cortland,
the senior stopped 53, including 20 in the third and three in OT.

Player of the Week:
Mike Lukajic, Oswego State
(So., F, Mississauga, Ontario)
The junior forward picked up 2 assists in a 5-2 win at Potsdam. Netted
3 goals for the hat trick and added 1 assist in a 5-3 win at #13 Plattsburgh.
Finished the two games with three goals and three assists.
Rookie of the Week:
Greg Prybylski, Buffalo State
(Fr, F, Cheektowaga, NY)
Prybylski tallied three goals and two assists in a 7-6 loss against
Geneseo. He is fifth on the team in scoring with eight goals and seven
assists for 15 points.
Goalie of the Week:
Tyson Gajda, Oswego State
(Jr., Westfield, Mass.)
Needed to make only 13 saves in 5-2 win at Potsdam on Friday. Made
28 saves to lead the Lakers to a 5-3 win at #13 Plattsburgh.
February
4, 2003
Player of the Week:
Nick Onody, Geneseo State
(Fr., D, Richmond Hill, Ontario)
Onody scored the game tying goal with 3:59 left in the third period
and got the game winner just 46 seconds later in Geneseo's 4-3 upset
win over nationally ranked Plattsburgh on Friday.
Rookie of the Week:
Michel Bond, Geneseo State
(F, Hearst, Ontario)
Bond scored a goal and an assist in the 4-3 win over Plattsburgh
on Friday and got the lone goal in the 2-1 loss to Potsdam on Saturday.
Goaltender of the Week:
Ryan Venturelli, SUNY Potsdam
( Jr., Bracebridge, ONT)
Venturelli made 30 saves in Friday's 6-0 shutout of Brockport followed
by 37 saves in Saturday's 2-1 win over Geneseo.

Player of the Week:
Mike Lukajic, Oswego State
(Jr., F, Mississauga, Ontario)
Lukajic had one goal and one assist in the 4-3 overtime win against
No. 14 Hamilton College. Was + 2. Lukajic had two goals including
the game winner in the third period in a 5-2 win at No. 4 RIT. Was
+1. Had one goal and was +1 in 7-3 win on Saturday.
Rookie of the Week:
Tony DuFour, Oswego State
(Fr., D, Cap Rouge, QUE)
Dufour was was +2 against No. 14 Hamilton College. On Friday was +1
against No. 4 RIT, and on Saturday had an assist against the Tigers,
and was +3.
Goaltender of the Week:
Tyson Gajda, Oswego State
(Jr., Westfield, MA)
Gajda made 27 saves in 5-2 win at RIT Friday, and 25 saves in 7-3
win over RIT on Saturday. Held nation's second leading scoring offense
to five goals over two games. RIT averages over 6 goals a game.
January
21, 2003
Player of the Week:
Justin Corio, Geneseo State
(Jr., F, Ransomville, NY)
Corio scored two goals, and two assists in the 5-4 loss to
Utica and added a goal in the 5-2 loss to Elmira.
Rookie of the Week:
Michel Bond, Geneseo State
(Fr., C, Hearst, ONT)
Bond scored a goal and three assists in the 5-4 loss to Utica and
added a helper in the 5-2 loss to Elmira.

Player of the Week:
Don Patrick, Oswego State
(Jr., F, Fulton, NY)
Collected 5 assists in an 8-0 win over Johnson & Wales and was
+3
Had 2 goals and 1 assist in 9-1 win over 13th ranked Wentworth. His
goalwas the game winner and he was +3.
Rookie of the Week:
Jocelyn Dubord, Oswego State
(F, LaChenaie, Que)
Had game winning goal and 2 assists in 8-0 win over Johnson &
Wales. Was also +3. Recorded an assist in 9-1 win over Wentworth and
was +2.
Goalie of the Week:
Scott Santora, SUNY Brockport
(Fr, Buffalo, NY)
In his first career collegiate start, Saturday night, made 31 saves
to backstop Brockport to a 4-1 win at Framingham State. He stopped
13 shots in the third period.

Player of the Week:
Gary Bowman, Oswego State
(So., F, Evansville, Wyo.)
Bowman collected one goal and one assist in 5-3 win over Elmira College.
The goal was his sixth power play goal of the season.
Rookie of the Week:
Jocelyn DuBord, Oswego State
(So., LaChenaie, Quebec)
Picked up two assists in a 5-3 victory over Elmira College.

Player of the Week:
Don Patrick, Oswego State

Patrick led the Lakers to a 2-1 week, beginning with three
assists in a 7-0 win at Cortland on Tuesday. Patrick followed that
performance up with one goal and two assists in a 6-0 win at Brockport,
and one goal and three assists in a 6-5 loss at Geneseo.
Rookie of the Week:
Kris Heeres, Geneseo State
(F, Abbotsford, BC)
Heeres scored two goals and one assist in Geneseo's 3-1 win over Cortland
on Friday and added a goal and an assist in the 6-5 win over Oswego
on Saturday.
Goalie of the Week:
Will Hamele, Fredonia State
(Sr., G, Dearborn, Mich.)
Hamele remained the No. 1 goaltender in SUNYAC making 30 saves while
posting a 6-0 shutout Tuesday over Buffalo State, and followed that
up with 13 saves in a 2-1 victory Saturday over Potsdam.

Player of the Week:
Don Patrick, Oswego State
(Jr., F, Fulton, N.Y.)
In three games last week, Patrick had four goals and four assists.
Patrick had a goal and an assist on the winning goal with less than
2
minutes left in Lakers 5-4, over Williams College. Patrick also recorded
two goals and two assists in the opening round of the Ben MCabe Tournament
against 14th ranked Trinity College, where the Lakers won 8-3. In
the final game on the weekend, Patrick netted one goal and one assist
as the Lakers pushed their unbeaten streak to six games, defeating
Wentworth, 5-1. Patrick was named MVP of the Ben McCabe Tournament
hosted by Amherst College.
Co - Rookies of the Week:
Jocelyn DuBoard, Oswego State
(F, LaChenaie, Que)
DuBoard scored once in the 5-4, win at Williams. DuBoard also
had two goals and one assist in the 8-3, win over Trinity.
Finally, DuBoard picked up an assist in the 6-1, win against Wentworth.
Craig Neilson, Plattsburgh State
(G, Markham, Ont)
Neilson posted a 6-1 victory over No. 5 Middlebury in the consolation
game of the PrimeLink Great Northern Shooutout. He made 36 saves in
the victory for a .973 save percentage. Neilson has yet to lose a
collegiate game, with a 2-0-2 record in four starts.
Goalie of the Week:
Tony Seariac, Plattsburgh State
(So., Framingham, Mass.)
Seariac made 45 saves to salvage a 3-3 tie with No. 10 Potsdam in
the PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout. He stopped several rushes,
including one-on-ones,to keep the Cardinals in the game.

Player of the Week:
Jason Kilcan, Plattsburgh State
Sr., C, 5-9, 187, London, ONT
Kilcan scored two goals, including a game-tying power-play goal with
2:47 remaining, to lift the Cardinals to a 5-5 tie with Elmira.
Kilcan also assisted on a marker in the contest.
November 19, 2002
Player of the Week:
Jim Gilbride, Fredonia State
Fr., F, Pama, Ohio
Gilbride scored two goals in a 3-2 victory over Geneseo on Friday,
and was one of four players to score a goal in a 4-1 victory Saturday
over Brockport. The Blue Devils remained unbeaten in SUNYAC (4-0)
and improved to 6-2 with the two wins.
Rookie of the Week:
Tim Earl, Cortland State
So., F, Troy, N.Y.
Earl picked up an assist in Cortland's 5-2 win over Hobart. Earl also
scored Cortland's first 2 goals of the game in their 4-3 upset over
7th-ranked Plattsburgh, the Red Dragons first win over the Cardinals
since January 21, 1977, a span of 54 straight losses. Finally, Earl
scored his team-leading 5th goal of the season in Cortland's 8-4 loss
to Potsdam.
Goalie of the Week:
Will Hamele, Fredonia State
Sr., Dearborn, Mich.
Hamele was on the winning end of a 3-2 and 4-1 weekend victories over
Geneseo and Brockport, respectively. He has posted a 2.00 goals-against
average and a save percentage of 91.5 over the first eight games.
