_________________________________________ Head Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field Coach, The College at Brockport, State University of New York, full-time 10-month position. Responsible for all aspects of coaching a highly-competitive NCAA Division III men's and women's cross country and track and field program, including meet strategy, practice planning, and fund raising, with particular importance placed on supervision, recruitment, retention, and providing leadership for quality student-athletes. Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner and attend required meetings and open houses. Hire, supervise, and provide direction for a staff of paid and/or volunteer assistant coaches. Perform all duties within athletic department, conference and NCAA guidelines. Represent the program and the athletic department in a professional, dignified, and positive manner at all times, and in turn expect the same manner of behavior from team members. Secondary responsibilities - administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, home event management, various athletic marketing/alumni relations responsibilities, weight room supervision. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; previous coaching experience in cross country and/or track and field at the college level. Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree; successful intercollegiate cross country and/or track and field head coaching experience. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the women's soccer program including recruiting, coaching, supervision of assistants, and game management duties for one other sport; and must adhere to all NCAA Division III, SUNYAC, and SUNY Geneseo rules, policies, regulations and procedures. Additional responsibilities will reflect the successful candidate's experience. This is a 10-month position. Qualifications: Previous collegiate coaching experience in the sport of women's soccer and a Bachelor's degree is required, but a master's is preferred. Candidate should have a complete background in women's soccer, a demonstrated ability to work with student-athletes, athletics personnel, and administration.
