Full Time Assistant Coach Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country
The State University of New York College at Cortland, a member of the NCAA Division III competing in the SUNYAC, is seeking applicants for a full-time, ten month position of Assistant Coach - Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross-Country (First Assistant Coach,SL3). Duties will include development and implementation of training units, recruiting, academic monitoring, development and monitoring of strength and conditioning programs, assisting with budget and event management, and teaching/advising within the Physical Education, Exercise Science or Sports Management departments. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree must be completed within three years of appointment, Bachelor's or Master's degree must be in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or a related field, expertise in one of the following areas: sprints/hurdles, jumps, or middle distance events, and college coaching experience Preferred Qualifications: USATF Level I certification, Master's degree, and intercollegiate recruiting experience. Head Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field Coach, The College at Brockport, State University of New York, full-time 10-month position. Responsible for all aspects of coaching a highly-competitive NCAA Division III men's and women's cross country and track and field program, including meet strategy, practice planning, and fund raising, with particular importance placed on supervision, recruitment, retention, and providing leadership for quality student-athletes. Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner and attend required meetings and open houses. Hire, supervise, and provide direction for a staff of paid and/or volunteer assistant coaches. Perform all duties within athletic department, conference and NCAA guidelines. Represent the program and the athletic department in a professional, dignified, and positive manner at all times, and in turn expect the same manner of behavior from team members. Secondary responsibilities - administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, home event management, various athletic marketing/alumni relations responsibilities, weight room supervision. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; previous coaching experience in cross country and/or track and field at the college level. Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree; successful intercollegiate cross country and/or track and field head coaching experience. Head Women's Soccer Coach


SUNY Geneseo is a highly selective residential public undergraduate liberal arts college of approximately 5000 students located in a historical village in the scenic Finger Lakes region of western New York, south of Rochester. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the women's soccer program including recruiting, coaching, supervision of assistants, and game management duties for one other sport; and must adhere to all NCAA Division III, SUNYAC, and SUNY Geneseo rules, policies, regulations and procedures. Additional responsibilities will reflect the successful candidate's experience. This is a 10-month position.

Qualifications: Previous collegiate coaching experience in the sport of women's soccer and a Bachelor's degree is required, but a master's is preferred. Candidate should have a complete background in women's soccer, a demonstrated ability to work with student-athletes, athletics personnel, and administration.

Salary: $33,515.00

Starting Date: August 1st, 2009
