WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Andi Palen (Gardiner/Wallkill), Cortland sophomore
Palen finished first in the 6,000 meter women's SUNYAC Championship race, helping Cortland to a second place overall finish.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Seth DuBois (Altamont/Guilderland), Cortland junior

DuBois finished first in the men's 8,000 meter race at the SUNYAC Championship, helping Cortalnd to a first place overall finish.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Jennifer Schaffhouser (Richford/Newark Valley), Plattsburgh junior
Schaffhouser finished fourth out of 267 runners at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by RPI. She ran the 5 kilometer course in 17:46, leading Plattsburgh women to a third place finish overall out of 24 teams.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Mike Heymann (Tully/Tully), Plattsburgh sophomore

Heymann finished third overall out of 310 runners at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by RPI. He ran the 8 kilometer course in 25:22, helping Plattsburgh to finish fifth out of 26 teams at the meet.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Stephanie Page (Nunda/Houghton Academy), Morrisville freshman
Page collected her first collegiate win Saturday afternoon at the Hilbert College Invite, posting a time of 22:10.7 in the field of five teams.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Matt Boyd (Illion/Illion), Morrisville freshman

Boyd led Morrisville State Saturday at the Hilbert College Invite, posting a collegiate best time of 19:02.2 for his first collegiate win. He helped the Mustangs to its first team win of the season.

October 13
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Renee Coe (Binghamton/Susquehanna Valley), Oswego senior
Coe finished third at the Nazareth Short Course Invitational, completing the 4,000 meter course in 16:02.49. She helped the Lakers to a second overall finish out of eight teams. Coe was also the first SUNYAC finisher of 76 runners.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Tom Williams (Queensbury/Queensbury), Fredonia junior

Williams finished second at the Nazareth Short Course Invitational, completing the 6,000 meter course in 20:41. In five meets this season, he has finished second three times, fifth, and first.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Laura Iafrati (Hilton/Hilton), Geneseo senior
Iafrati finished first in the Geneseo Invitational with a time of 22 minutes and 16 seconds on the six kilometer course. Iafrati led Geneseo to a first place finish overall. Geneseo is ranked eighth in DIII in the latest poll.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Mike Heymann (Tully/Tully), Plattsburgh sophomore

Heymann finished first in the Geneseo Invitational with a time of 25 minutes and 24 seconds on the eight kilometer course. Heymann led Plattsburgh to a second place finish overall, behind only Geneseo who is ranked 13th in DIII in the latest poll.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Andi Palen (Gardiner/Wallkill), Cortland sophomore
Pallen finished third out of 189 runners, and was the second collegiate finisher at the Ronald C. Hoffman Atlantic Pre-Regional at St. Lawrence University. She finished the 6,000 meter course in 22:13, only 17 seconds off the winning time. Cortland is ranked twenty-second nationally in Division III.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Shamus Nally (Burnt Hills/BH-Ballston Lake), Cortland senior

Nally finished second out of 250 runners at the Ronald C. Hoffman Atlantic Pre-Regional at St. Lawrence University. He finished the 8,000 meter course in 25:22. Cortland is ranked first nationally in Division III. Nally has been an All-American in the past two seasons.

September 22
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Jennifer Schaffhouser (Richford/Newark Valley), Plattsburgh junior
Schaffhouser won the individual title at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational, finishing the 4500m course in 16 minutes and 52 seconds. This was her first career victory. Plattsburgh finished 2nd out of nine teams, beating nationally ranked Cortland and Division II Mansfield.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Mike Heymann (Tully/Tully), Plattsburgh sophomore

Heymann was the first SUNYAC finisher and 2nd over at Oneonta's Airfield Invitational. He finished the 6 km course in 18 minutes 43 seconds, which is the 2nd fastest collegiate time ever on that course. Heymann led Plattsburgh's team to a first place tie with nationally ranked Cortland.

September 15
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Kelsey Conn (Batavia/Elba), Brockport sophomore
Conn finished in first-place at the Brockport Cross Country Invitational with a time of 19:48.60.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Tom Williams (Queensbury/Queensbury), Fredonia junior

Williams was second overall at the Brockport Invitational, eight seconds behind a runner who was the NCAA D-3 individual runner-up in 2007. Williams ran the 5,000-meters in 16:06 and led the team to a second-place finish, ahead of two teams ranked higher than Fredonia State in the the most recent Atlantic Region poll.

September 8
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Jennifer Schaffhouser (Richford/Newark Valley), Plattsburgh junior
Jennifer Schaffhouser was Plattsburgh's first runner and second overall in the 27th annual Cardinal Classic on Saturday, crossing the 5K finish line in a season's best time of 19 minutes and 5 seconds. She was instrumental in keeping her teammates as a pack, pushing the unranked Cardinals to an upset of No. 14 nationally rated Middlebury in the team standings.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Mike Heymann (Tully/Tully), Plattsburgh sophomore

Mike Heymann won his second race in as many starts on Saturday, taking individual honors at the 27th Cardinal Classic with a time of 15 minutes and 44 seconds on the 5-kilometer course. He also helped the Cardinals finish first in the team standings with a perfect score of 15, beating four other schools in the field.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Alyssa Smith (Rochester/Brighton), Geneseo freshman
Smith won the individual crown in a time of 19:56 to pace Geneseo to the team championship at the Daniel Walker Invitational at Buffalo St.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Lee Berube (Putnam Station/Ticonderoga), Geneseo freshman

Berube won the individual title with a time of 26:11 to lead Geneseo to the team title at the Daniel Walker Invitational at Buffalo St.
