ECAC Performer of the Week October 29, 2002 - Men's Performer of the Week Dave Bolen finished fourth among 110 runners to lead
the men's cross country team to a second place finish at the SUNYAC
Championship at Fredonia Saturday. Bolen earned SUNYAC Hall of Fame
Honors and placed the highest of any men's runner at Brockport since
1988. Bolen came in with a time of 26:45.52 for fourth place and earned
the Hall of Fame honors for his placements in the SUNYACs throughout
his career. Senior Chopp was the top Division III finisher at the 36th Annual Albany Invitational. He placed seventh overall out of 219 runners on the 8,000-meter course with a time of 26:00.12. Cortland finished eighth out of 22 schools in the field and second among Division III schools. Dave Bolen - SUNY Brockport Bolen finished second among 104 competitors to lead the Brockport men’s cross-country team to a second place finish in an eight-team meet at the University of Rochester Saturday. A senior, Bolen was clocked at 26:22 on the 8,000-meter course. October 1, 2002 - Men's Performer of the Week The senior from Collins, New York had a second place finish among 69 runners to lead the Golden Eagles to a team win at the Fredonia Invitational. Brockport scored 34 points, easily defeating Geneseo (52) and four other teams. Bolen came in with a time of 26:55.27 for the second place finish. He was nearly 50 seconds ahead of the third place finisher. Dr.
