April 30
Player of the Week

Matt Dahlin - Plattsburgh
Senior, (Cohoes, NY/Stillwater)
Dahlin helped lead the Plattsburgh to a 5-2 record for the week including 5-1 in the conference as the Cardinals clinched a spot in the SUNYAC tournament. At the plate he hit .389 for the week that included a 3-for-6 performance in a win against Cortland, which was the first time in 31 years that the Cardinals had beaten the Red Dragons. He also went 1-0 in two appearances on the mound for the Cardinals.

Pitcher of the Week
Erik Weber - Oneonta
Senior, (Bainbridge, NY/BG)
In a must win game for Oneonta State this past Saturday against Fredonia, Weber pitched a complete game, five-hitter in leading the Red Dragons to a 6-1 victory. In the game, Weber allowed an unearned run and struck out 12 Blue Devils en route to recording his fourth win of the season.

April 23
Player of the Week

Trey Johnson - Fredonia
Senior, (Gerry, NY/Cassadaga Valley)
Johnson had a big week at the plate for the Blue Devils in leading them to a 3-1 record in conference games. Overall, he hit .682 (15-22) in six games for the week including a .750 (12-16) clip against his SUNYAC foes. Johnson collected two doubles, one home run, stole four bases, scored five runs and drove in seven runs for the week.

Pitcher of the Week
Justin White - Oswego
Junior, (Central Square, NY/Central Square)
White went 2-0 last week in helping lead the Lakers to a 5-1 record in SUNYAC games to move into third place. He pitched a 9-inning complete game victory against Oneonta allowing an unearned run and striking out four batters in a 3-1 game. He also pitched eight innings allowing three runs and striking out 10 batters in his other win last week against SUNYIT.

April 16
Pitcher of the Week
Jimmy Dougher - Cortland
Sr., Liverpool, NY/Liverpool
Dougher went a perfect 2-0 this past week on the mound while also recording a perfect 0.00 ERA. He threw six innings in a 9-3 win over Oswego only allowing four hits and striking out six before earning the win in a 9-0 victory over SUNYIT, throwing four innings and only allowing one hit while striking out four. For the week he only allowed five hits in 10 innings pitched while striking out 10 and not walking a batter.

Player of the Week
Dan Maycock - Cortland
Sr., OF, Utica, NY/T.R. Proctor
Maycock batted .500 this past week (11-22) with three doubles, one triple and nine RBI. He also scored seven runs and walked three times while stealing three bases in five games. Maycock started the week going 2-4 with a double in a 9-3 victory over Oswego before going a perfect 4-4 with a double and 3 RBI in a 12-9 victory over Centenary College. He also went 3-5 with a triple in a 6-8 loss to Keystone College.

April 9
Pitcher of the Week

Tome Locke - Oneonta
Senior, (Oxford/Oxford)
Locke earned the honor after throwing a complete game, four-hit shutout in a 3-0 win against St. Joseph's College of L.I. Locke struck out four batters and walked none as he improved to 3-0 this spring while lowering his ERA to 1.61.

Player of the Week
Andersen Gardner - Cortland
Freshman, (Fairport/Fairport)
Gardner assaulted two opposing pitchers last week in going 8-for-10 in two wins for #3 in the nation Cortland. In a 22-6 rout of Fredonia last Monday, he was 5-5 with four RBIs and then followed that game with a 3-5 performance in a 9-4 win against Ithaca.

April 2
Pitcher of the Week

Matt Kelley - Plattsburgh
Sophomore, (Mechanicville, NY/Stillwater)
Kelley tossed a complete game two-hitter in a 5-1 victory over Oneonta State on Sunday to pick up the win and move to 2-1 on the mound. He held the Red Dragons scoreless for the final six innings while striking out five and only walking one batter.

Player of the Week
Mike Zaccardo - Cortland
Junior, (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit)
Zaccardo hit .538 for the week while going 7-13 at the plate. In a 17-6 victory over Fredonia, Zaccardo was 3-5 with three Home Runs and seven RBI's. His three home runs in the game tied the Cortland State school record for home runs in a game.

March 26
Pitcher of the week

Jake Dennstedt - Brockport
Senior - (Churchville,NY/Churchville-Chili)
Dennstedt is honored as the Pitcher of the week for the second consecutive week after his performance in a win against defending Div. III national champion Marietta. Dennstedt pitched seven innings allowing only one run while striking out six batters in an 8-3 win at Marietta.


Player of the week
Dan Maycock - Cortland
Senior - (Utica, NY/T.R. Proctor)
Maycock hit .600 (9-15) in four victories for #6 Cortland as they remained undefeated at 13-0. Dan collected two home runs, a double and three stolen bases while scoring seven and driving in five runs.

March 19

Jake Dennstedt - Brockport
Senior - (Churchville,NY/Churchville-Chili)

Player of the week
Todd Hughes - Plattsburgh
Junior - (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy)

Both players led their respective teams to winning records to start the season on opposite coasts. Hughes led Plattsburgh at the plate while Dennstedt was solid in his two starts on the mound. Plattsburgh put together a 10-2 record on its opening trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla., which Hughes hit .432. Hughes collected 19 hits and 31 total bases and led the team with 17 RBIs, 16 runs and seven extra-base hits. Dennstedt went 2-0 last week with a 0.00 ERA. In his two starts, one which was a complete-game, shutout against Keene (NH), he threw 13 scoreless innings and struck out five.
